I'm trying to increase memory in M55 v11. Everything is OK, but I don't know how to make fuc**ng language pack with polish language. I have tried using Smelter and Notepad, but all the time I see strange signs instead normal phrases in the menu.

Lang pack with Czech or Sloviak from this site is working, but I want to create my own. Please help me... How to do that? How to make lang pack?

I opened full flash (bin) with Smelter, clicked on Save whole langpack, edited the *.lgp file (erasing non polish languages), saved the modified *.lgp, clicked Load whole langpack and Save langpack-area. The file has 64 kb. But after writting it to the phone, there are strange signs instead for example polish: "Enter Pin". What am I doing wrong?

Please help me! Crying or Very sad

1, After rstore lgp try code *#0000#.
2, Or try to save only polish lgp from FF. After right mouse click there will be a offer to show only a polish language.

It's not possible to save only polish with Smelter.

I tried your suggestions, but all the time there are strange signs. Moreover - if I edit some good lang-pack (using Smelter and UltraEdit) the situation is the same - strange signs. Please help me ;(

Maybe the Smelter is wrong? Which version do you use?

OK, it works now when I enter *#0001# / green.

But your lang pack works every time!

Using my when I enter *#0048# (for polish) or *#0000# strange signs backs.

Please help me last time!

I think, I have to do that using Siemens Language Editor and set there parameters for M55. But how?

For M55 v10 it's:

PhoneType M55_10, BA0000, 40000,6,8,a,c,e,10,12,16,2a,3c,0,0

But for M55 v11?

Or any another idea?

you're on right way.

edit the header like this:

Code:

PhoneType M55_11, 000000, 10000,6,8,a,c,e,10,12,16,2a,3c,43,0
AllLangs x
MaxMsgId 3836
LgPackId lg1
;
;
; Language data
;
LangId 1
...

phone type, not sure if the 11 is right, but it'd work, the zeros is adress, you need to type it at loading in phone (in vklay) and then's the size, if you want one language then 10000 is far enough
AllLangs - number of languages in LGP, for polish only 1 and so on...
MaxMsgId - id of the last message in LGP, or just number of messages in LGP
