hello everybody i think this is a great site about siemens phones. unfortunately i don't understand czech language. sorry for posting a new topic but i couldn't find answers to my question elsewhere.

i bought a siemens cf110 phone and it has customization in menu icons, startup-shutdown customization, color schemes and wap browsing and bookmarks made by a spanish company amena, i think.
i know that about color scheme, and animations i can set others that i want but as for menu icon, wap and bookmarks i can't change them.
i want to know is it possible to put a default siemens content in hidden folders which will set menu icons, wap browsing to default "siemens settings" and get rid of this amena customization by using CF110_sw07_FF.bin or CF110_FLEX.exe or CF110_070101_eng.exe, the last is a WinSwup file.

Well, at the moment I couldn't find here patches to help you...
But is patches exist to change your CF110 icons (well, maybe someone can port the icons patches from x55 to this one), then you need to use V_Klay, and have the DCA510 cable, or one generic cable, produced to patching work.
This phone don't have one big hit, so, lets hope someone can help you better than I.

Hello again.
I downloaded the new firmware update v14 for my CF110 from this site 3-4 weeks ago and it seems to me that my battery endures less time than before with about 36 hours. When I looked in the benq-siemens site I found that there is no firmware update v14 for CF110 and my variant which is S501.
I would to know how did you recommend this v14 update? Is it possible my battery's shortened standby time to be caused by this update? Is it possible to downgrate to v11 again by installing it?
