Cable for Patching EL71

Hi.
I have 3 cables now. One for EL71 (DCA-140) and two for my S65:

No-Name COM cable (I can apply Patches with it)
Pin2 Pin3 Pin4 is used.

No-Name USB (I dont know which one, but I can use it to apply patches too. I Can't charge my S65 with it and it has got a black box in the middle of the cable)
Pin1 Pin2 Pin3 Pin4 Pin7 is used.

Wich one is better for making a cable for patching EL71?
Can I use the COM cable as well?

And how do I have to resoldier? I saw same methods but with 4 wires. And in my cables there atre 3 and 5 wires.
