Hi!
At first, I need an original M65 EEPROM, from where could I download it?
Twice, I have some problems with my software, I updated to Fw58, apllied the Clear FW patch, formatted the FFS with FFS_init_Fw50, but still some fatal errors. One could be solved with an original, faultless EEPROM (the prob is, that my Alarm Clock freezes if it wants to alarm when phone is turned off), the other problem is with GPRS. As I want to connect to GPRS (via WAP browser, or via JAVA app., or via E-mail client) sometimes the phone turns off. I saved the (S)Exit reason, it's this, everytime:
What can I do against this? Maybe the correct EEPROM will solve this problem too?
I have an other problem, too, if I don't exit from the Calculator (that's a bulit in JAVA as I well know), the phone turns off again, (S)Exit says 'l12mondo'... I donno what is this, besides, if phone turnes off, but from stand by (so nothing I do it with), the reason use to be 'l12bkfct'. That's an other secret code for me too, but now I want to solve all these problems. Could you help me, please !!! You're my last chance, I believe, because I tried so many things before, but still no 100% stable M65...
Thanks in advance:

Ok, I tried to copy this EEPROM to my phone, but was buggy. I'm not good in EEPROM Tool, but I did it so: Load this file, select all, init the =x65 phone type, copied all entries to the right window, select all on the right side, save selected on the right side. It took about 30-40 secs, and it copied the datas. But after, trying to turn on the phone, it only bips, and nothing else, nor the lights... So now I backuped my EEPROM, now the phone works, ahhaaaa, S Exit sais for reason 'imei'. So which block mustn't I to copy to the phone? Or what did I wrong?
Thanks your help! |

You must restore your own number 0076, 5008, 5009, 5077 blocks. _________________ C(ME)75

It was easy, as your attached EEPROM doesn't contain these blocks, only the 0076. But it didn't help, besides while restoring my old EEPROM, 5007, 5008, 5077, 5121-5123 locks couldn't be written, EEPROM Tool prompted a write error !!! And can't turning on the phone, it just bips... Now, what to do?
Edit:
Restoring a FUBU solved the problem, but of course not solve my original problems. So, I don't want to do something wrong, please give me a point-by-point description if you have some time to do it for me! I have the EEPROM Tool, the M65 EEPROM you've attached, and a DCA-510. Please drive me trought the way of recovering the EEPROM! :)
Thanks in advance !!! |

1. Apply patch open closed eeprom blocks
2. backup your eeprom
3. restore eeprom from siemensmania
4. restore those blocks from your eeprom
I hope this is finally good. _________________ C(ME)75

THANKS !
It solved my alarmclock problem, so it works if phone is off ! Yuheee
About GPRS problems I'll write later.
Thx again!
Edit:
So, after set my own settings in the phone, alarmclock won't alarm again, if phone is turned off, cacommunicationprocess (S)Exit reason again... Now I try to find out, which setting f*cks the alarmclock, now I'm total over with this problem... Maybe have you any Idea? (I can remember, long long time ago I applied a patch, that turns off vibra while alarming, but it was different as on M55, so I did undo it. I can't remember, whether this problem did exist before or not...) |

So, I have an option to copy a brand new M65's FUBU to mine. But I heard that this is not so easy due some software reasons. So, what should I do after copying the new FUBU to mine phone? It's enough to recover those 3 blocks of original EEPROM, or something more is needed? thx! |

You need blocks number 0076, 5008, 5009, 5077 from your EEPROM backup. _________________ C(ME)75

Yeah I'm Hungarian, and was visited Bratislava once, I very like that city. I was in slovensky raj too, was wonderful too, but I haven't been in CR unfortunately yet, besides I have two very nice czech girlfriends, I like they. They said a czech word I couldn't repeat, my answer was "Mosonmagyaróvár", of course they also couldn't repeat it; :) I don't like, that our language is such different, maybe I'll learn some slav language (I'm interrested in Croatian, Slovakian, Czech... maybe... I'll see)
Sorry due the off topic... :) |
