Check this link (the text is in German) as to find how to enable reading and writing on the BREW filesystem!!!:
http://www.usp-forum.de/community/board/showthread.php?t=16310
The program, to learn about, BITPIM 0.9.00 http://www.bitpim.org/ you can download and install as to use it for reading AND writing with the file system of the SXG75 & EF81 phones.

Short instructions:
- Start the program
- Phone Type choose: LG-VX8100
- COM Port: click "Browse" and choose "Siemens Diagnostics Interface"
- Menu / View / View Filesytem to enable Filesystem links on the menu... after that you should be able to to view the complete filesystem

Some more tips and pictures you can find on the above link...

Hi.

If you would like to know more about this, please read here:
- click for news about this topic
- click for german forum where this stuff originally came from before "USP-forum" copied it

you can use google or babelfish to translate this stuff into english.

actually, there are two tools called "BitPim" and "QPST". QPST is an official Qualcomm Service Tool and much more powerful than BitPim.

Best Regards from Germany

Hi Bonfire,

QPST EFS Explorer also doesn't work on my SXG75 but BitPim (latest version 0.9) works fine. In our german community (forum.modopo.com) we guess that QPST EFS Explorer works only if you chose "Customization Update" while doing the firmware update. Maybe this option resets the service code?
But that's only a guess because so far EFS Explorer works only on phones where "Customization Update" has been done. But be careful, this option deletes all custom settings and files on the phone!
