Well, have a nice holiday. Have you seen the Hostel movie?
In Prague, there can be a lot of shops with BenQ-Siemens cellphones sell-out.
I´m not local, but this can be a good chance: Spalena 37 ["spah-le-nah" ;o)] in the New Town (Nove Mesto) - here is a map. One shop (look herefor further addresses there is selling used BQS phones. In Katalog zbozi > Mobilni telefony > Pouzite >Benq-Siemens you can look, which phones are sold. E71 is probably the best choice . And the battery for EL71 - they´re also selling the EL71, so maybe you´ll be succesful in persuading them and they´ll give you the stand-alone EL71 battery.
I hope the people there in the shop will understand english as good as I do at least, and let you make some bargain there.
You could also ask there for another shops, which are selling the last BQS devices after the BQS bankrupt - because I think that these shops are cooperating together - when there aren´t some BenQ-Siemens cellphones in stock, one shop can ask another, if they have it...
My last tip is this shop with a suspicious name "Benqshop" - the shop (or maybe only the shop OFFICE!) is located here. They´re selling these phones. "Neni na sklade" means "Not available"... but with this shop, there can be the problem, that it is probably importing BQS phones somewhere from Poland, so it could be, that NONE of listed phones will be available directly when you visit the shop.
But don´t consider this activity as the main purpose of the Prague visit
Rather look up for pretty girls and superior beer instead of speaking with cellphone-selling dummies there (and buy comfortably something on eBay)
Hope my reply was understandable a bit (sorry for my not very well English) and I wish you find what you need in Prague.
Cheers. 8) _________________ S LXXV |

Anways i thought of E71,what about E81 or maybe P51?
And how much Kč is one euro?
I have always wanted an EF51....
How much euro is 2.800 Kč?
And what means: Omezené množství |

yeah, it is about 50:50 for English and German there... Older people speak German better than English, I think.
E81 is BREW based => slow, not "Siemens-like", but has nice design... and BenQ has released a new FW for it recently .
P51 was "hot" cca one year ago, now it isn´t anything special...
EF51... heh... the phone looks like a toy for small children... and is hat got ugly display... it´s a "image-phone" only for listening music...
2800 CZK is 136 Euro. 8)
omezené množství = limited quantity _________________ S LXXV |

So it is better to change HRK to Kč and the phone turns out cheaper cuz 1 HRK is 0,26 Kč,and 136 € is 990HRK,and 2800 Kč is 728,and as I am i from Croatia don't i get Tax refund when i buy something?
And i need the phone for listening to music and sendind SMS...
I don't talk that much on the phone. |

Well, if the oficial exchange rate is 1 HRK = 0,26 CZK (1 CZK = 3,85 HRK), you should exchange the money somewhere in your country (or in the Czech Republic in any other town instead of Prague, because in Prague exchange offices it is a bit inofficial - for example you get 1 CZK for 4,00 HRK there ).
1 Euro is 20,50 CZK, our currency is still weaker than your...
And the fucking taxes: if there´s written "cena s DPH" (including VAT), it is the final price.
When not (cena bez DPH), it will cost 119% of price 8) (VAT is 19% on goods here).
//EDIT: wow, I totally screwed up the currencies, now it is OK. _________________ S LXXV |

Then it turns out better to change into € first then pay in €?
Hehe, the VAT in Croatia is 21% so you don't have to complain, but none has answered my question,do i have to pay the VAT since i'm a from foreign country.... |

heh, it seems to be a bit mismatched again... at first, you write 1 HRK is 0,26 CZK, and then that 990 HRK is 136 Euro...
but then 257 CZK must be 136 Euro, too ... this would be a PARADISE
I think you wanted to write, that 0,26 HRK is 1 CZK... this is more probable, isn´t it?
Sorry for my misunderstanding...
BTW i looked here for actual curses and it is like you wrote.
100 CZK is 26 HRK or 4,88 €
100 HRK is 384 CZK or 13,74 €.
Pfff... if some BenQ phone costs 3000 CZK, you need 780 HRK or 146 EURO. 146 € = ~1063 HRK. But 3000 CZK is 780 HRK.
Sorry that I wrote it like to dummy people, but I have to write it there to make sure myself, that it is right.
The final words: Change your HRKs to CZKs, don´t deal with EUROs, when you wanna spare.
And I don´t know about any stupid fees/VAT for foreigner... since we are in the EU, we can´t effort stupidities
When some f*king people will want to rip you off, start threatening with Strasbourg or any other Europe court and they will stop. 8) _________________ S LXXV |

Thats what I actually thought....
Anway AFAIK i should get tax back so that means that 19% of the price.
The best thing is that i can (since u r in the Europe) anywhere on the border of any country of EU i can request tax refund. |

Skladem = On store, available.
(Dostupnost = Availability)
8)
About the SX1 I´m not very sure; maybe few last pieces can be stored in some shops covered by dust... or some repassed SX-ones...
in second-hands can be in horrible condition, if there are any...
But on EBay or other net-shops could be maybe still to finding.
It´s too old phone now, unfortunately... _________________ S LXXV |

LOL,i figured out it would be an EF51,or if izt is not available i will take a S88 cause it is cheaper,or i will stick to E71 if i get the money.
BTW do you live in Praha,so you could check if there are any EF51 still left?
EDIT: Now i have seen that there are still 3 left !!!
One in Spalena Ulice, and two in Karlovo Namesti.
Could you go there if you live in Praha and tell them to reserve one for me? |

I had a really pleasant stay in Praha,Chodov Top Hotel praha.
Really nice you country,i could really like to live there.
I most liked the Metro,in 10 min where you want to be.
Mostly i was getting of the metro on Muzeum, and from there walking anywhere.
I decided myself for an EF51,2850 Kč,but it came without headphone, but they are coming from Denmark ,also i will buy myself HHB-750.
I bought it in Salena 37 Mobil Pohotovost,it was a použity mobile, and i got 6 months of zaruke.
And guess what,i went to Karlovy Namesti,at nuber 16,few days after, and this is also MP,and i saw an EF51 for 2990 Kč,and it probably had the headphones.
I was so unhappy, but i comforted myself with a new Sandisk miniSD 2Gb for
670 Kč.
Nice stay indeed in Praha! |
