My new laptop doesnt have a com port, but I need it to patch my M55, so I got "USB to COM" cable, but it doesnt want to work. Is it possible to make it work with M55 patching cable? How? Maybe someone tried such cable and know? Confused

Maybe such cables are just for old printers? Mr. Green

Have you tried the cable with another HW? For example printer or something like this. Because it can be wrong driver or someting and cable does't work for all.
Another solution: Use a docking station for NTB. Docking stations usually have COM port. With this port it will work for 100 %.

I think I dont have any HW with COM port to try... I installed some kind of drivers, maybe I need to configure them?

I think the driver is OK. Try to set lower settings, as it is writen, it is better for correction connect problems. Maybe it will help.

I got rid of my "made in china" usb to com cable, so I could buy a new one but only if that cable would truly work with DCA-510com cable, anybody know such cable?
Or any one have scheme of x55 usb cable for patching/data transfering? Rolling Eyes
