SL45, after 10 years it still one desired phone.
So desired, that collectors all over the world are trying to get the most units they can and hold them in a very special and personal home museum.
I, as SL45 lover, and already processing one I restored back in 2005, got another SL45 with a set of covers pack and decided to put my hands on work.
First, you need to [dissasemble your phone]
After being all in bits and bolts (lol, this phone don't use bolts xD ), pray and get ready... wash hands, wash the front panel.
Ok, you have all what is needed, took any bit out, now is time to start isolating the phone screen. Do this both inside and outside. Why inside too? Because sometimes, the spray paint is evil and might get inside the covers too.
once you have the tape covering the outside, pick up a blade and start cutting around the screen. I'll rather recommend duct tape rather than this blue one I used, because mine is war harder to cut out.
Now, start spraying. Shake that bottle very well, and spray it with at least 20, 30cm distance from the covers, to avoid ugly paint drops.
Let it dry for around half an hour, or more.
Dang, the paint smell is making me high. Remember, always make this in a clear dust free and well vented place.
The odours emanated by spray paints are toxic, take it in mind.
Are you ready for the assembly?
Good, once is all dried, start making your "new" SL45!
OMFG, this old gold paint managed to make this phone awesome! 8D
Oh, you haven't forgotten to paint the battery cover, right?
Enjoy and long live SL45.

I had to respray mine again, but this time:
-> Used original SL45i front fashia instead of that fake one
-> Sanded it a bit, made sure no grease was there
-> applied the paint
-> applied spray varnish
-> let it dry for more than 24 hours
It is now more durable and more glossy. _________________ The storm of www.siemensplanet.com
