Hello,
I've installed the latest firmware (FW52) for my Siemens SL75. The problem is that is doesn't have any T9 file. Is it possible to install the dutch T9 on my mobile?

As far as i know it is difficult in SL75, and s68
i have s68 , made a backup from another s68 with same version and put it on the other s68, but the t9 won´t work...
i think it is not like the x65 |

Someone, somewhere, on some German forum wrote this for S75:
Set your menu language / T9 to English
Restart the phone.
Connect the phone to the PC and copy your T9 dictionaries to the phone's folder: \Data\System\T9\
Restart the phone
Activate new T9 dictionary
Restart the phone
Set your menu language / T9 language
See if it works (!?!) _________________ S65(FW58) | IFL-600 (External flash) | DCA500

Problem is, that you need to installed something like license for each t9 dictionary you want to use.
If you remove some ldb file, you can put it back any time and it will work, because license file remains in phone, but if you add ldb file, that was never before installed into phone, it will be unreadable.
It is discussed also here, you can find there package of t9 files and their license files:

License files are installed through "Config" drive. Unfortunatelly, you need to have phone in "Factory mode" security status to be able to see and write on "Config" drive. You need SKEY. _________________ ....S65-AX75-CX75-EL71-E71-SXG75-E71-S68-C81-M81 |

License files cannot be copied from one phone to another. If you look into the file (T9.zip, that I have given link in other topic), there are files with extenion drc. These files are used by phone to create license files, when copied into Config/drm/pre_inst. I haven't any other languages, only these you can find in zip.
If you can read german, here is some info how to get phone into Factory mode.

Sorry, I have no experience with xfs files. Maybe you need "Factory mode" also for this operation _________________ ....S65-AX75-CX75-EL71-E71-SXG75-E71-S68-C81-M81 |

Example, you have the FFSInit file "FFSInit_SL75_2_ua-retail_39_0358.exe"
1. Copy your FFSInit file to C:\TEMP
2. Start any Winswup firmware update file and leave it running
3. Start / Run:
C:\Temp\FFSInit_SL75_2_ua-retail_39_0358.exe /UNZIP
(there is a blank space before "/UNZIP"!)
And you will find a new folder: C:\Temp\FFSTool with all the contents of your FFSInit file unpacked.

thanks for reply and info
i did all that but no unpacked files at the temp folder( i created and put the ffsinit file).
just the init file pops up when running the command:
c:\ffsinit.exe\ UNZIP
P.S I just ran any winsup without connecting any phone 2 it.
any idea what am doing wrong?
shall i have UNZIP program in same temp folder or what? |
